commits itself to the following aims:

to publicize and disseminate species protection objectives

to organise and implement species protection projects
*
to combat the illegal removal of species from their natural habitats and
subseqent smuggling
*
to publish reports, research findings and results concerning the protection of natural populations and species
*
to put scientific knowledge into practice
*
to enlarge the photographic and literature archives on the protection of natural populations and species
*
to draw up CITES specialist reports
*
to draw up CITES proposals for Conferences of the Parties
*
to co-operate with organisations having the same or similar aims
*
